Chinese Astrology, the art of the chinese zodiacs

People consider Chinese astrology as an art. The purpose of Chinese astrology is to help individuals attain their objectives via self awareness and continuous advances of the mind and soul. Like western astrology, the Chinese astrology system is used to determine a person's health, career direction, likes and dislikes, compatibility with other person, luck attraction and a lot more .

Chinese astrology is made up of a 12 year cycle which has 12 animals to represent each year, they are better termed as the Chinese Zodiacs. They are the rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep (or goat), monkey, rooster, dog, and pig, arranged always in this order. The perfect genisis of the twelve animal systems is still mysterious. But there was a legend about it, here is the legend: the Jade King was bored, and was not doing anything in Heaven. He did not know what was happening on Earth, as he had servants fulfilling his each wish. He decided that he wanted to see the animals that live the earth so he sent word to his advisors to bring him twelve animals. The advisor primarisly sent an request to the Rat, asking him to even bring the cat, because the Rat was jealous he evaded the cat from letting know the news.

Later on, invitations were sent to animals like, the Tiger, the Rabbit, the Dragon, the Snake, the Horse, the Ram, the Monkey, the Rooster and the Dog and were asked to attend the next days. They lined up in front of the king, and later on he discovered that they were just 11, than twelve that he wanted. Thus the Jade king wanted the 12th animal from earth so he asked his advisor to get it. The servant ran into a man taking a Pig, and pulled| it and presented it to the king.

The animals lined up in front of the king in any order. The Rat, being smallest of the rest, hopped on the Ox's back and continued to play the flute. The king was very impressed by the Rat's show. He gave the Rat primary place. Second place was given to the Ox for its good sportsmanship, and third was given to the Tiger, who appeared so strong. The forth place was for the Rabbit, the Dragon took the fifth position, The sixth place was fro Snake, the seventh for the Horse, the eighth one for the Ram, Monkey stood ninth, tenth was Rooster and eleventh was the Dog. By default, and due to the king's just nature, twelfth place went to the Pig. After the ceremony got over, the cat begged the king to revaluate but he denied the cat.

There are 5 elements in the Chinese astrology. These elements were Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water, always arranged in that order because it is said to be a continuous course, that is Wood generates Fire; Fire generates Earth; Earth generates Metal, Metal generates Water, and Water generates Wood, and as it goes back to its beginning.

Last but not least there is the cosmic and divine strength that influences the entire Chinese astrology system. This force is termed as The Yin and The Yang. The yyin stands for the female whereas the Yang stands for Male. A dissimilar analysis declares that the Ying stands for the Evil and the Yang stands for the Good. When properly joint the Ying and Yang produce collective harmony and perpetual balance. The amalgamation of Yin and Yang is the hidden power following the Chinese Horoscope system.
But the Chinese Astrologers are not stern decision makers. They do not believe a person's destiny is already given accurately at the time he/she took birth. What they do believe is that a person's time and place of birth set limits within which a person has freedom. What happens in these boundaries is influenced not just by own decision but also by external issues such as locality, monetary conditions and the like.
