What is Hoodia?
Hoodia, if it is authentic, it is one of the most rare botanicals in the world. It is like a cactus plant that only grows in South Africa. There are compounds that have been isolated by Scientists that suppress the appetite. There is a molecule called P57. The mid brain area is affected and this causes the nerve cell to feel like you are full, therefore you have no appetite.

How do I know if it is authentic or fake?
Hoodia is very publicized right now. It is all over the media as a natural weight loss product, the best in America. Many of the network news channels have featured as well as other print materials. Most of the reviews have been positive giving this even a bigger edge on the market. The product has become very high in demand and everyone is trying to get in on the business opportunity it provides.
This brings up a lot of opportunities for fraud. Since Hoodia Gordonii is so rare and only available from South Africa, the chance for counterfeit or fake hoodia is here and will be spread like wildfire.
Since this is a product claiming to be the best weight loss product, this is going to be the frenzy and fad. But remember, this product is VERY RARE, CONTROLLED and VERY EXPENSIVE! So if you are looking to get involved with this product in sales, or even trying it, be aware of a few things.
Know Before You Try or Buy!
1. EXTREMELY IMPORTANT! Make sure product is authenticated and has a lot number that corresponds with the batch tested on the product label. This test needs to be authenticated by a verifiable Independent Lab Report. (This is the most effective way to verify a high quality hoodia product. All premium hoodia products Will display this report with pride.)
2. Hoodia product will display a C.I.T.E.S (This shows that the product is authentic South African hoodia, date should be no more than 6 months old)

You will find hoodia in pill forms that will provide great results; results have shown hoodia taken in the liquid extract form may provide faster results.
