The history of chiropractic care can be traced back to the beginning of the recorded time. In China and Greece, writings from 2700 B.C. mention the manipulation of spinal chord to relieve back pains. Hippocrates during the 460-357 B.C. had written "get knowledge of spine, for this is the requisite for many diseases". The modern day's practice of chiropractic care is only a century old. Dr. David Daniel Palmer in the year 1895 conducted the first chiropractic treatment by adjusting the vertebra of a man and bringing it back to its original position thereby helping the man to hear again. He was initially researching the cause and effect of diseases but ultimately substantiated that if the spine is aligned correctly, the nerves which connect the body will also work perfectly and the man will remain healthy and free from diseases.

The twentieth century brought good news to the chiropractors by giving them recognition and reimbursing the insurance claim of their patients. This development in USA and the growing respect for the chiropractic care has given the profession, world wide recognition. The research around the world has brought the field of treatment positive results which has changed the people's perception towards chiropractic care. It is one of the most cost effective treatments which saved hundreds of million dollars every year. The chiropractors have started promoting science based approaches to various illnesses which will lead to more discoveries in preventing and fighting diseases. They are gradually gaining public support and chiropractic care is now considered as an alternative medical treatment.

In recent years, all kinds of businesses (including medical related services) are being promoted on the Internet. The chiropractors have started to realize that the web does help them to bring in customers. People go online to search for information all the time. When they have headaches or back pains, they go to a search engine and search for a remedy. That is how they sometimes come across various products and services.

Pay per Click (PPC) advertising is a great way to drive targeted traffic to bring in business. Forum advertising is another way of improving your business. By participating in forums and offering genuine advices can be a good way to network with others. Above all, your reliability, credibility, acceptability and genuine credentials will improve in the growth of your business.
