In the Riviera Romagnola every summer are organized a lot of events and shows. For some years one of the most expected and interesting has been the Pink Night.
It is from the already very famous White nights, during which a whole city stays awake all night having fun with shows, performances, concerts, open stores and what else.
The difference here is that is not just a city, but the whole Riviera, that means 40 km of coast that will be painted of pink for some days and some nights. The Pink night is also known as the New Years’ Eve of the Italian summer. This is a unique night, unforgettable, a night for all, young and not young. The Pink night is a special event with unique characteristics; or rather it is not just one event, because at least 300 events happen in a few hours.

The Pink night will be on July 4th, but celebrations and the various events will start some days before, until July 1st. As last year, there will be numerous events, concerts and exhibitions and performances that will take place along the Riviera romagnola and of course it is likely that all hotels, hostels and other accommodation facilities will be packed. Also this year edition will be characterized by a full program, made of musical events, concerts, visual arts and events that will take place is particular places, but also some unusual places… there will be some surprises. The Riviera is getting ready for its crazy night with shows under the moon, concerts; the party will last until sun will rise on the silver Sea.
From Comacchio to Cattolica, along all the coast, squares, roads, ports and beaches will be used to host numerous events. The most important are the concerts of Gianna Nannini in Cattolica and of Carmen Consoli in Riccione. But there are many else, many other concerts will take place in other places, such as the one of Milva and Giuliano Palma in Bellaria; but also Eugenio Finardi, Alberto Fortis and Irene Grandi, that, together with the captivating salentine rhythms of the Notte della Taranta, will follow one after the other on Rimini’s stage for a great night of music. We also have to cite the various performances of young emerging bands on the stage of the MEI Day Festival, the important marathon of Italian independent music.
Another focal point of the celebration is the firework shows that at midnight will light up at the same time all the beaches of the Riviera, coloring the sky and the entire coast in pink. The most effervescent and fashion color of this summer will triumph, then, in the various locations, among lamps, flowers and streets decorations, sun loungers, beach umbrellas and there will be even themed furniture, drinks and dishes in various restaurants and pubs. Another thread of this party of early summer will be a particular attention to female, made of small gifts, special discounts and thousands other initiatives.
All the territory is involved in this great events, pubs and facilities, all are decorated in pink, the piadina will be flavored with a pink sauce, the lights of the lamps are colored in pink, fireworks are in pink and synchronized along the whole coast, many buildings are lighten up in pink.
An absolutely not to miss appointment of the Italian summer, especially because is suitable for all, young people and families, children, there are a lot of events and entertainment dedicated for each one of them. Really a shame not to be there!
