It was the lucky Wednesday night when Barcelona took football match to new heights and won against Manchester United in the UEFA Champion's League finals. Compared to the major players like Iniesta, Messi, Xavi and others, Alex Fergusson's players looked much out-dated due to their dull performance. Well, it was Barca's hard and sincere efforts that lead them to great victory. It was recognized that if you have to defeat Barcelona, you need to stop them from playing football!
Here is a brief history of Manchester United vs Barcelona, the great football match that was played on 27th May, 19:45, BST-British Standard Time. This was a gorgeous clash in Rome where the two great European football teams were geared up to win the match and gain the Champion's League title for the year 2009.
- 2 minutes- Manchester United got an intimidating attack as they gained a free kick and later on a corner.

- 4 minutes- Another attack by Manchester United, but in vain.
- 6 minutes- both teams trying hard to get a chance.
- 10 minutes- Barcelona lead by 1-0, thanks to the wonderful close distance shot by Samuel Eto.
- 13 minutes Barcelona's improved performance, meanwhile, Manchester United trying hard to equal to the Barcas'.
- 17 minutes- Ronaldo turned down by Pique and Giggs free shot crossed the bar.
- 19 minutes- Messi's long distance kick was about to hit the target and this was Barcelona's aggressive attack.
- 22 minutes- Wayne Rooney luckily gained a corner, but again it was in vain.
- 25 minutes- Barcelona becomes more aggressive.
- 27 minutes- Xavi gave his excellent shot, but it just missed the target.
- 30 minutes- Manchester united is depending on defensive kick.
- 33 minutes- From the left wing, Evra passed the ball, but there was no one to entertain it.
- 36 minutes- Though Barca got a good chance to corner, but unfortunately, Pique failed to make a goal.
- 39 minutes- Both sides cool, no one dominates.
- 41 minutes- Manchester United got a good blow, Park missed the control by the end.
- 43 minutes- A good one from Barcelona, but Manchester goal keeper was excellent.
- 45 minutes- Messi tried hard by running on left wing and passed through the box, but in vain.1 minute added.
- 45+1 minutes- Iniesta and Henry gave the last performance by attacking before semi session.
- 46 minutes- Beginning of Second half. Treve replaced for Anderson on the field.
- 49 minutes- Henry just missed it, but was saved by Edwin van der Ser. Henry faced United keeper alone, but still missed to score.
- 50 minutes- Barcelona again gave an aggressive attack, Messi requested for penalty.
- 53 minutes- Xavi showed excellent performance, a bad one for Barcelona.
- 56 minutes- Barcelona gears up.
- 59 minutes- Man U waiting for equalizer.
- 61 minutes- United gave a severe attack, Rooney was offside.
- 63 minutes- Rooney put in efforts to get the corner, but was weakly received.
- 65 minutes- Henry intimidated, player changed. Barbetov take place of Park.
- 68 minutes- Ronaldo gets a bad pass, United players disturbed.
- 70 minutes- United get corner, but poorly handled.
- 71 minutes- Barcelona wins a SECOND goal, hats off to Messi. Excellent performance.
- 73 minutes- Manchester's great chance as Ronaldo misses.
- 77 minutes- Man U once again attacked.
- 78 minutes- Ronaldo unnecessarily gets a yellow card.
- 80 minutes- Scholes sees yellow card.
- 83 minutes- Barcelona gets a free kick, but in vain.
- 85 minutes- Messi missed a great opportunity.
- 87 minutes- Man U got a corner, but Barteov gives a bad head.
- 89 minutes- Barcelona's victory is already been sensed by their fans, but Man U fans are leaving.
- 90+2 minutes- Just waiting for the last whistle, players changed to waste a few seconds.
- 90+3 minutes- Barcelona wins the match, History is created.
