Some days ago in Rome there was, in Campidoglio, the presentation of the fifth edition of Expo Edilizia, professional fair for building and architecture, planned at the Rome New Fair from the 22nd to the 25th March 2012.
The prestigious fair is a very important event for the field of building in Centre and South Italy, a showcase on building and architecture global news, presented through many different thematic: structural elements, door, windows and closings, floors and coverings, equipments and machines, decors and colors, urban architecture, renewable energy equipments, informatics and services and security.
The event, presented through a massive communication, counts nearly 785.423 users in the website www.expo-edilizia.it, 260.000 professionals that regularly receive the newsletter and international partners as the Italian-Oriental Chamber of Commerce, the Hellenic Chamber of Commerce of Salonicco, the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, the Ahmad Yabroudi Est. International Conference and Exhibition Services, the Italian-Serb Chamber of Commerce of Valjevo; important partners then to open new work opportunities for security companies, building companies and for the companies of services for the building and architectural field in Mediterranean Countries.
In the 2010 Edition, Expo Edilizia gathered 46.160 real visitors, of which 29.9% were building companies, 29.1% were dealers and wholesale dealers, 20.6% were construction companies, 18.1% were installation companies and 2.3% others, for a total of 57% of visitors from the Centre, 36% from South and 7% from North Italy.

Among the fields that are expected to be more interesting, there is the security, for which there will be the participation of some of the main surveillance companies and companies of the construction field, and the field of renewable energy equipments; in the first case, there will be presented personal security equipments, equipments for personal and collective hygiene, security signs, video surveillance systems, anti-intrusion and anti burglar systems, product, systems and appliances for the protection against chemical-biological and environmental risks, fire products and systems. For what concerns renewable energy equipments in Rome there will be hosted companies that realize solar, photovoltaic appliances, systems and panels and plumber and water systems.
The fair event has been conceived also as a breaking space on the construction division in the light of the actual period of economic crisis; indeed at the presentation of Expo Edilizia 2012 have been presented the results of the survey organized by ROS, society in which participate Fiera Roma and Senaf, on a sample of 301 Italian construction companies. From the situation presented by the data of the survey, it emerged that 59.5% of interviewed companies in 2011 registered a decrease in the annual turnover and 59.8% suspect that in 2012 there will be a further depression.
2012 then seems to be a crucial year for the construction field in Italy and many constructors identify in the Green Energy the turning key to unblock the economy; this conviction has been confirmed even by the fact that the energy requalification of buildings has become compulsory, smoothing the way for a number of energy requalification of old buildings and for new green constructions.
