EPDM or Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer is a chemical. It is available in white and black but you can add color by adding non oil based colorant. You can save thousands on normal roof installations. This product can last up to 20 years. You can fix roof leaks, seal and protect with one coat. It works great on rubber roofs with no topcoat or primer needed. It will work on pitch and non pitch roofs both commercial and residential. It does not crack due to temperature changes like other applications.
Spray Polyurethane Foam Roofing
This forms a seamless bond with no leaks. If a leak does happen it can be located faster than old fashioned roofs. It gets put on as a liquid using plural component spray with equipment and fills cracks. It expands 30 times its volume and forms a hard surface on the rooftop. The foam itself dries in seconds after applied. It forms weather tight roofing that adheres to the substructure. It adds little weight and is used in corrective applications. This foam has a history of 45 years in roofing materials. It also adds insulation value and cuts down on utility bills.
Concrete Roof Coating
This coating can be used to fix leaks in roofs and other problems. It is cheap and reliable. It can be bought in many different colors and even custom made. One person can apply this coating to a roof but for safety you should have a helper. Check the weather before you start doing this work. It has to be dry with very little humidity. Follow the directions and let it dry for 8-12 hours. Use a cross hatch technique for the coating. If you have a metal roof you will have to coat it every 2 years with touchups in between. If you live in a warmer climate you will want to get reflective coating to reduce cooling costs.
