Today, India is at peace and there is no need to be on guard. But these forts remain standing, proud of its history and what it once used to be. They serve as windows to the bravery of Indian soldiers before. The three forts of Jaipur are Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, and Narhargarh Fort.

The Amber Fort is located in Delhi Jaipur Highway. This was established in the year 1592. The former builder was Raja Man Singh I. it was renovated to a new output by Raja Jai Singh I. It is made of white marbles and red stones. It has a Maotha Lake in the foreground. This lake shows the crystal mirror image of the fort.

There is a big difference between the outer appearance of the fort and its core. This fort has a soothing and warm ambience in the inner portion. The appearance of the fort together with its decoration is a combination of the Hindu and Muslim ornamentation. There are exquisite paintings that feature hunting scenes in the walls. These paintings symbolize the Rajputs temperaments once known to be revolutionary, adventurous and self indulgent.

The appearance of the Amber has always captured the attentions of the tourists. The strong walls of the fort show that no enemy can ever invade the fort. This fort is divided into four subparts.

First is Kali Temple or the Shila Devi Temple. It is a place with a glorious story. Its doors are uniquely huge and have unique designs. The second subpart is the Hall of Public Audiences, which is actually a double row column pavilion. This is also known as Diwan I Aam. Third is the Ganesh Pol, the road to the King’s inhibited apartment. And fourth is the Hall of Victory. It features a mirror work ceiling and inlaid panel.

Your trip to this fort will be complete with a royal elephant ride.

The second fort is Jaigarh. It is just 400 ft above Amber. This means that this fort is at the top of the hill. This was known to be the Victory Fort and is very spectacular. Many people thought that the two forts are complex but they are not. These two forts are well guarded.

The Jaigarh Fort was made to give more security for the city and Amber fort. This fort offers structures of medieval years of India. There are many temples here, plus a tall tower. This was the center of artillery production.

The fort highlights massive canon which bears the name Jaivan. This canon was the largest in the world. The fort also has a mastery of architecture of the former age, wide water channels, underground channels and underground tanks. There is also a museum inside that has collectibles of the things in the past.

The third fort in Jaipur is Nahargarh. It is constructed by Maharaja Jai Sawai Singh. This fort was named after a prince who was said to hunt the construction site. This is at the Aravalis’ rugged point. It offers a spectacular view of the city. This fort was called the Adobe of Tigers.

The fort has an eye catching view of Man Sagar Lake. It has one of the most breathtaking views during night time. There are a few restaurants around where tourists can have a snack or drink after their tour. This fort stands as a royal heritage. This can make your trip more memorable.

Jaipur is very proud of its heritage, and it is manifested in keeping these forts very well maintained so that it can be seen by many people around the world. These forts are also well kept so that history may not be forgotten. The bravery of their ancestors shall be lived and retold for many generations.
