The Academy as it is known, is established privately by profound artists, architects and other well-off patrons of the art sphere, as it was built in 1768 by an act of King George III, with a task to committe the preservation of the art of design with both emphasis on exhibition and classical studying. It is considered as the 11th most popular visitor destination all over the UK.
