Similarly, all glass objects and knives should be stored away in cabinets, as kids are attracted to shiny and bright objects. All drawers and latched doors in the lower cabinets in the house should be locked as they can be opened by the child easily.
One can possibly even fit cupboards with small catches so that they can be opened a small distance. This will not make it possible for a child to put their arms or hands inside or even crawl inside them. Safety gates could be installed at places one desires to keep out of the reach of babies, such as stairs, bathrooms, along with the kitchen.

It is best if one can update the child safety door locks and other safety measures every six months. A first aid kit should be kept ready at home for emergencies. They can be purchased from any sporting goods store. Aside from this, it is a good idea to install edge guards at various places to safeguard the child from grievous injuries.
