Graphic designs also consists of certain concrete design elements that enhances the overall output. For any website design these things are of paramount importance. The elements of graphic design do follow certain rules for effective balancing and complementing the designs.
Line is important and fundamental design element of graphics. The concept of line has the capability of joining, arranging, giving motion to images, etc. Graphic designers can very well use lines to improve the type, appearance, message and readability of any design. Another important graphic element is the 'shape'. A well-structured shape can be an excellent medium for conveying the message, carries meaning and also helps in organizing a design.

If the selection of texture is proper, even a simple looking graphic design can look attractive and appealing.
Providing required space in your graphic designs is essential as right amount of space used gives stability to a design. It looks more elegant and uncluttered soothing to eyes which gives a pleasant feeling. Good graphic designers always want to strike a perfect balance between all graphical design elements.
Background color of your website affects the way it is viewed. Put yourself in the shoes of the visitors and look your site from that perspective. For how much time can you stare at it and whether it gives pleasant feeling to your eyes or not? Ask yourself such common questions, this would help in proper selection of the background color.
The web page should not contain more than three fonts neither three font sizes. It implies that the whole website should contain max of three font sizes or less than it is also better. The text color in graphics has to be also decided, as it should be easy to read and visible too. Thus graphic design elements play vital role in deciding the overall and final website look.
