If you're worried about never having beautiful clear skin again, don't be the acne will subside once your body stops changing. This doesn't mean that adults are immune from bad acne breakouts; because acne can also be caused by other external triggers, such as dirt, oil, eating too much fast food or having a reaction to a new cleaning product.

Possible acne treatments:
The type of acne cure that you choose should mainly depend on what is causing it, for example if it is just a side affect of a new soap that you've bought from your local store, simply change soaps. On the other hand if you have a serious case of acne that has not been treatable using the regular topical creams then it might be hormone related, in this case you may need to visit you doctor for a hormone treatment and a course of vitamin A supplements. To give you a better idea of the different acne cure options available to you here are some of the most commonly used remedies:
(1) Benzyl Peroxide products – You will probably have used this in the past on your pimple condition, it is one of the more popular and widely available acne cure treatments available from chemists and supermarket stores. Benzyl peroxide comes as a topical cream which may be mixed with other ingredients such as vitamin A, C or E depending on the brand; it works by absorbing all the moisture and oil from the skin around the affected area, this gradually shrinks the pimple down. This is an effective first defensive against a mild case of zits, but can cause itchiness and sore red patches on your top skin layer.
(2) Salicylic Acid Creams – This is another topical treatment that can be applied directly to your skin, it sometimes comes combined with Benzyl Peroxide, but you can find single ingredient creams as well. Once applied it seeps deep into the pores and loosens the blockages; if you decide to use this cream remember to use it only once per day as it does encourage skin shedding and increase the sensitivity of your outer skin layer, especially under the suns rays.
(3) Home made remedies – A lot of people prefer not to put potentially toxic chemicals on their face, so an alternative was devised; there are several all natural ingredients in your kitchen that can help reduce the symptoms of acne. One of these is the carrot and honey treatment; to make it simply grate one full carrot into a bowl and add 2-3 tablespoons of honey, mix and apply directly to your affected skin. This should be done once a day for about 3 weeks for the best results, it helps because the honey contains a naturally occurring anti bacterial chemical and the carrots contain a chemical that gets rid of sebum oil in your pores. Another effective home acne cure makes use of organic oats, add warm water to the dry oatmeal mix and apply the resulting paste to your pimples; as the oats dry they absorb the oil and moisture from the surface of the skin reducing the size of your spots.
