Whenever customers avail of the services of a commercial printer, they would usually choose a single printer and depending on the service they received, they may decide to stick with this printer for all of their future business cards, posters, flyers, and postcard printing needs. This single-printer approach to business is fine for the most part, but many people miss the alternative of having two commercial printers where they will be able to get their products like cheap posters and cheap postcards. There are many benefits and reasons to having two postcard printers and the following are a few of them.
a. Specialization, Equipment, etc. Again, not all commercial printers are equally capable, which is why it is quite hard for a customer to be able to find a printer who can do it all. A better alternative to this is not to find a commercial printer who can produce every type of commercial printing product using every kind of commercial printing equipment but to find at least two printers who each can do something of everything. Not only is this an easier undertaking, it is also perfectly reasonable and even your printing company would understand that sometimes you have to turn to another company for your other commercial printing needs. For example, you can have one printer that specializes in postcard printing using offset printing and another which specialized in digital printing.

b. Where one fails, the other succeeds. You can imagine your postcard printers as pieces of the same puzzle, where one should meld perfectly with the other and filling any gaps left. Where one postcard printer may be offering a specific service- say overnight delivery- the other may not, so it falls to the customer to know what he wants and which printer would be able to better serve him. This is why it is so crucial for printing customers to be aware of the capabilities of a lot of printers, so that they can narrow down the choices down to 2 or 3 which would then be chosen based on the situation.
c. Easier scheduling. A schedule can be so easily disrupted whenever a postcard printer experiences delays in printing and in delivery. Thus, it is less of a hassle to have two printers producing part of the whole batch so that in case one experiences problems, the other will be able to pick up the slack. When your entire schedule does not hinge on the reliability of a single postcard printing company, you would find your efficiency and productivity to be boosted. It is important to remember, however, that this advice is also dependent on how well you plan things out and make your schedule.
Choosing a postcard printer to handle your postcard printing needs would go much more smoothly if you have more than one postcard printing company at hand, the capabilities of which you know of. Do not forget that it is not always about cheap postcards, credit cards, and posters, but also a good management and choice of printing companies.
