Hyderabad – A Land of Architectural, Historical & Natural Marvel

Hyderabad the capital of Andhra Pradesh is one of the fastest and the oldest cities of India. This well cultured city exhibits an age old civilization & traditions. The city is also a major tourist attraction for the tourists of all over the world as it displays a great variety of attractions in form of natural beauty and historic monument. It also offers a range of architectural marvels such as Char Minar, High Court Building with many mosques and minarets, interesting shopping markets with lively and enthusiastic people.
Hyderabad is situated in the most techno savvy state called Andhra Pradesh. It has become home to some of the major IT development companies of the world; even Microsoft is having their overseas offices here. The city is also known as the City of Pearls as it was home to some of the most prominent pearls and diamonds in the world.

This magnificent city was under the rule of 'Nizams' for a very long period and hence it is also called as 'City of Nizams'. Hyderabad is like a treasure of memories of rich culture and traditions of four hundred years. During this period it has witnessed the rise and fall of several dynasties. The city developed and flourished during the regime of Qutub Shahis and many forts, buildings and monuments were built. Even after gaining independence in 1947, the Nizam of Hyderabad wanted to remain independent as a monarch ruler or the part of British Empire. But on September 16, 1948, the Indian Army intruded the Hyderabad state and forced the Nizam to surrender. Later on the Hyderabad was included as a state into the Indian Union.
Depending upon languages the Indian States were reorganized on November 1, 1956. As a consequence, the state of Hyderabad broke into Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Bombay, Karnataka and remaining part was included into other states of India. Later on the state of Hyderabad was included into Andhra Pradesh and it became the capital of the state.
Hyderabad offers a range of attractions that surely make your trip a memorable one. Some of the most prominent attractions in the city include Golconda Fort, Charminar, Hussain Sagar with Nehru Zoological Park and obviously how could you forget to see the Ramoji Film City. If religious sites are what interests you then you would find some of the magnificent temples such as the Birla Mandir dedicated to Lord Venkateshwara with a world famous mosque called as Mecca Masjid. It is legend that the bricks of the mosque were brought from Mecca and hence it is referred as Mecca Masjid.
One can also plan for wonderful getaways for several places that are situated near the city. Some of the worth visiting places include Vijaywada, Nagarjunasagar and Nagarjunakonda, Alampura, Bhadrachalam and many more. One can plan to visit the Pakhal Wildlife Sanctuary that is just about hundred and twelve kilometers from Hyderabad. This sanctuary offers a much needed break through from your busy and hectic life as you will find yourself amidst relaxing and rejuvenating atmosphere with wide range of flora and fauna.
