The city of Branson is known for offering some of the most popular and sought after tourist destinations. Some of the most visited and must visit attractions in the city include Silver Dollar City, Ride the Ducks, Branson Balloon and some of the most significant landmarks in the city.
Silver Dollar City is one of the best and the most popular tourist attractions among the visitors looking for a great time with their family. This magnificent theme park has always been the center of attraction among the tourists since past fifty years. This is situated right in the middle of the natural scenic beauty of Ozark Mountains exhibiting around forty live shows, restaurants and shops. The Silver Dollar City is home to six magnificent and marvelous world class breathtaking festivals also. This world renowned park was opened for general public on May 1, 1960 and is operated by Herschend Family Entertainment Corporation.

This place is also known as the home of American craftsmanship. Here you would find craftsmen illustrating the art of creating a basket with some other handmade articles such as pottery, blacksmithing and glass blowing. It also offers some of the most thrilling and adventurous rides in form of American Plunge, Electro Spin, Elephant March, The Grand Exposition Coaster and many more.
Branson Balloon is renowned as the largest tethered balloon in the nation. The balloon is able to lift thirty people to a height of about five hundred feet. This is the best way of taking the complete 360-degree view of the Ozark Mountains, Table Rock Lake and the entire city. The ride lasts for about fifteen minutes and these rides take place all the year round. The major deciding factor for the successful flight is the windy weather.
Branson also offers some of the most prominent and significant landmarks in form of Marvel Cave, Inspiration Tower, Talking Rocks Cavern, Showboat Branson Belle and many more to add to the list.
Marvel Cave – The exciting Silver Dollar City is spawned by this magnificent cave that was originally referred as Marble Cave by its explorers. They named it as a Marble Cave as they assumed the incredible lining on the wall as marble. But the name of the cave changed to marvel when they came to know that it is not marble. This cave is under the control of Silver Dollar City. The authority of the cave also offers sixty minutes guided tour and a trail of about three hundred feet deep in to the earth.
Another awesome landmark of the city is called as Inspiration Tower. This tower is considered as the Landmark on the horizon. The height of the tower is around two hundred and thirty feet situated on Inspiration Point in The Shepherd of the Hills farmstead. This is the best place to catch the phenomenal views of the city during any season. There are two glass elevators that take the visitors of the tower to the enclosed observation deck. One would also find some great amenities down the ground level in form of specialty gift shop, restrooms and snack bar.
