Newbiggin-By-The-Sea, Northumberland, a small parish located in the Northern Seacoast of Northumberland, England. In the 1300's, it used to be a very vital port used to ship and transport various products such as grains and coals. For that, it was labeled as Northumberland's maritime centre. Until now, this town remains to be used as a mini fishing port with the use of the so-called conventional coble boats. For this, the town has always been connected to fishing and fish. But eventually, the industry turned gear to coal mining as well.

Historically, Newbiggin-By-The-Sea, Northumberland was originally known and referred to as South Wallerick. It was renamed 'Neubegang' when there the Danish race invaded the village way back in 875 AD. It was later on renamed Newbegining with a lot of different spellings and variations until it finally got its final and official name 'Newbiggin', the name used to call the village at present.
In 1828, it shifted from being a well-known maritime hub to a beach resort. Facilities were complete to attract tourists from all over the world. Public houses were easily accessible which included bathing facilities, more than a few shops, as well as some lodging houses.
