1. The poster type theme – One of the easiest themes that a beginner can go for in their flyers is the poster type theme. I know it might sound odd to use a poster theme but it is very easy and effective to do this on your first flyers.
All you need is a great and attractive feature, a simple and short headline and you already have a great foundation for a flyer. Most people will already be attracted to pick flyers like this and all you have to add is some important supporting content and you should be done. It is that easy really that is why this is a good starting theme for beginners in flyer printing.
2. The newsletter type theme – Now, if your color flyers need to convey more information, a great theme to adopt is the newsletter type theme. By doing this, you turn your flyers from just simple pieces of paper to official looking publications (even if they are small). You just need to divide up the content into several columns, add in large headline and a moderately large image and you have a great and effective information awareness flyer. Now you know what theme you need for information dissemination through flyers.
3. The notice type theme – One good theme that will make your flyers extra visible is the notice type theme. By inserting very large type headlines in your flyers, with eye catching words like NOTICE, WARNING or ATTENTION, you will have a very high chance of getting flyers.
People do not want to miss any kind of important announcement. That is why this kind of flyer themes work. Make sure though that you give people some real concrete and useful information when using this type of theme. You do not want them to get mad at being duped without any benefit to them.
4. The mimicking theme – If you want to be creative with your flyers you should try the "mimicking" concept. This involves designing your flyers in such a way as to mimic certain things and materials. For example, some people use creative flyer backgrounds to make the flyers look like they are made of wood, stone, plastic, glass etc.
This is a great novelty type of design that should be pretty memorable for readers. So if your theme or message merits some kind of material like this or you just want to be different from other flyers, try this theme out. It is really effective and creative at the same time.
5. The sleek web theme – Lastly, if your aim is to have trendy type flyers, look no further for inspiration than the Internet. Most of the best design trends today come from web 2.0 sites. The sleek, glossy and soft type themes that are developed today are really a mark of the continuing innovation of digital visual effects. Translating all these to print flyers is pretty easy and you can get really amazing flyers designs using them. So if you want to be trendy with your flyers, you should go for web themes.
So? Have you chosen what you want to try first? These can really give you great and effective flyers, so choose wisely and implement them well. Good luck!
