What are the two needs that we all share as network marketers? More money coming in, and more leads to talk to. Well, there are many free marketing tactics you can implement to get more leads for your business.

However, you must be prepared to spend time in order for these free tactics to work. As marketers, we need to understand that it takes either time or money to get leads for our business. There are some great paid advertising strategies, but there are some great free strategies as well.
How Can You FindFree MLM Leads?
Article Marketing
You can write, right? One free method that can serve as a lasting source of prospects is article marketing. There are definitely some key things to keep in mind though when using this strategy.
1. What keywords are you going to write about?
2. Where are you planning to host your content?
3. How are you going to syndicate your content?
You see, article marketing isn't simply tossing an article up on an article directory or an internet site and hoping someone finds it. If you are going to invest the time into all that writing, make sure you have gotten the most out of it!
Video Marketing
Videos can be an enormously effective way of promoting your business, but just like article marketing, if you don't know what you're doing before you get started, you'll just be wasting your time. Most people think video marketing is making a couple of videos and putting them up on YouTube. If that is all you do, you're plainly not getting enough out of your video making efforts - and you're leaving a LOT of cash on the table!
Forum Marketing
One of the top niches to go after when producing leads is other network marketers - and forums can be a great spot to meet them. That being said, the absolute last thing you want to do on a forum is start pitching your business - no one wants to hear it and it won't get you anywhere fast.
Before doing forum marketing, make sure you have these guidelines firmly in mind:
1. Don't use the forum to try and actively recruit people by pitching them with your business.
2. Do fill out your profile if applicable.
3. Do add an avatar if allowed.
4. Don't just read: contribute!.
5. Leave your links on your signature.
6. Use the links in your signature to send people to personally branded sites (blogs or capture pages). They're clicking the link because they have an interest in YOU as a person, so you should definitely deliver on that.
7. Don't expect overnight results, you have to be consistent and patient with this approach. That means posting on the exact same forum(s) regularly, not just a bunch of posts all at once and then nothing for days and weeks at a time.
8. Join forums that are active and get a good quantity of traffic.
Social Media Marketing
When used appropriately, sites like Facebook, Twitter and other social media can be enormously powerful lead sources. Just like forums, don't make it a habit of pitching everyone you meet on your business. Set up relationships!
Try to think about your online acquaintances the same way you would visualize face to face introductions. How would you react if the first time you met someone, say at a party, they introduced themselves and followed up with "So, you want to discover ways to make a ton of cash from home?" I'm guessing you'd look for a way out of that conversation in a hurry.
So, why do people do that on social media sites? Meet people, build relationships with them and again, provide value. Your friends will begin to see you as a frontrunner and will seek out whatever opportunity you have to offer when the time is right. Again: no links to generic company websites in your profile here!
These three methods should be enough to get you started! Along the way, remember to keep these two things in mind:
1. Patience and consistent effort are the keys to success with these strategies.
2. Don't try to do them all at once. Pick one you are comfortable with, master it, and then move on to the next.
If you try to tackle them all at once, it will be overwhelming. Things will go much more smoothly if you tackle one strategy at a time and gradually expand your marketing arsenal.
