There are several people who are tight on money and therefore are looking for free assistant in nursing training. Assistant in Nursing Training Through Nursing Homes

Did you know that there are some nursing homes that will offer your CNA training? This has been shown to be a rather effective and successful way to become trained as a nursing assistant. If the facility is going to offer you a job or require that you work there after training is complete, this can be beneficial as they can train you to how they run things and you will have a job lined up. In this economy nowadays, that is a plus. Not all are going to offer this so be sure you ask around to find one.

However, while some may train you for free, not all will offer you certification. This is something you will have to pay for on your own and you will have to take the licensure test as well. There are some facilities that will not allow you to work until you have that license even though they have trained. Every state requires medical professionals to be current on all of their licenses in order to work.

Employment Agencies

These agencies may or may not help with subsidizing the cost of your training. The average cost of a training program is about $450 and in some states it could be higher. There are several institutes all over the country that are offering free training and there may be other fees or costs associated with your training program such as the cost of books or uniforms.

How Much Can You Make?

After you receive your assistant in nursing training, you can get your license and begin working. Once you begin working, you can expect to make about $650 a week. Sometimes this amount is lower and in some places it is higher. The pay ranges from the location you are in as well as your experience and what facility you are in.

There are a variety of training facilities available for your training and can range from vocational schools to adult education facilities and even community colleges. The class lengths vary as well and when you are looking at getting assistant in nursing training, you should ensure that you do proper research to find something that is going to work for you and what your needs are. This is a great place to start at a life ling career in the medical field.
