Staph infection is not very easy to avoid. Infection is generally transmitted from person to person but could even be acquired through contact through material surfaces with staph bacteria including clothes, quilts, bedroom pillows, along with things that can easily have contact with your skin. So what is the best preventive measure for staph infection?

Almost every bacterial infection like staph can be prevented by maintaining a proper hygiene. Being clean and observing proper hygiene every now and then is a very simple yet successful method in discouraging staph bacteria from reaching through your system. It is always ideal to often rinse your hands before eating with cleaning soap or a hand sanitizer. Usually, staph infection spreads due to variety of reasons like sharing the same towel or clothes with people who are infected with this disease or if people stay in very congested areas or play sports with infected people.

Proper sleep, good diet, and staying away from stress can also be a good preventive measure for staph infection. This deadly bacteria can be kept at bay if you lead a healthy lifestyle as it improves the immune system of such people. Staph bacteria will also be seen to be resistant to different types of antibiotics hence it is always advisable to depend on our natural antibodies to repel this lethal bacteria strain.
