Website owners are forever trying to find ways to make their website more viewable and attractive to their visitors how about if accomplishing this would be as simple as using seven magical words;? No, do not underestimate this statement; after all seven is a magical figure and there are seven wonders in the world, seven dwarfs, seven deadly sins etc.

People often wonder is words really have the power to move people, yes they do. Think about all the revolutions and freedom movements that took place around the world. All occurred because people were motivated by the words of their leader to such an extent that they were willing to lay down their lives for the cause; that's how powerful words can be. They can make you ad, happy and angry. Of the seven hundred thousand words in the English language, not including slangs, people only seem to know and recognize ten percent but this dismal percentage has a lot of power over the human psyche and the way people think and feel. However, you cannot underestimate the the power of how these words are communicated and expressed which can also have a direct impact on the effect that they have on the people around.

The word problem of websites:

Have you ever watched a television how that goes on and o to the point where you doze of on the couch? We all have; if you wee to be asked what was so boring and annoying about the program that made you fall asleep, you will probably say that it was too long and monotonous. Its true, too much information is as bad as no information at all. Information overload kills the anxiety of the viewer or listener; this in turn can have direct bearing on people's decision to buy a product from the establishment.

In terms of a website, people are often told that netizens are impatient and that the website design should offer all the information in the briefest possible way but this may not help if you are selling a sophisticated product. Actually, the principle is no different from that of writing a good book, offer content that provides good information that your visitors want and provide it in a pertinent way.

Website design is a not all about images, flash animations, HTML, layout and other technical wizardry, your website should have the power to communicate with your visitors. Your advertising should look and feel like valuable information so the viewers can remember your business and the products that you are selling.

The Seven words:

So here is a quick look at those seven powerful words.

Audience: Think about the visitor when writing content; after all, this is the guy who pays your bills so you need to ensure tat your content caters to his needs. It is a well known fact that customers are vexed by sales tactics and when sellers go overboard with them; they are doing themselves more harm than good because the customer finally ends up walking away without buying the product. So don't use high pressure sales tactics, instead show the customer what the product can do for him a/ her and once he knows that its worth his while he will be inclined to buy it without the use of sales tactics.

Communicate: Make sure that your website communicates with the visitors; it should be able to provide information that a visitor is looking for. If a website does not communicate with its visitors on both a rational as well as psychological level; there are very slim chances of its success.

Memorable: Website design is about more than layout, markup language, and technical wizardry. Website design is about communication, it's about turning advertising into content, and content into an experience that viewers will remember.

Focus: Do not use facts and figures, there is really no need to include endless lists of benefits and features; you will simply end up confusing the buyer with that much information; instead focus on the most important aspect of your product

Performance: Your advertisement should perform the task of establishing yourself in the minds of your visitors so that the next time they are looking for a product in your niche they of no one else but you and this can be done with a combination of style, language, personality and performance.

Language: Using the right language, one that will suit your audience is another important requirement.

Personality: Unfortunately mid and small size businesses rarely work on this aspect of marketing and in the process they leave the turf open for customers to form their own opinions which can be quite risky. Think about the company; its mission and what you intend to offer the customers; now, ensure that every pitch whether marketing or sales lives up to the image of the company that you want to portray.
