Major Advantages of Safe Ear Cleaning

Undoubtedly, every person has at least once in life cleaned the ears. Usually, most of people do it after taking a shower. They automatically search for a pack of cotton-tipped swabs on the shelf in their bathroom. But few people pay special attention to the mode of cleaning their ears and may even cause some inner damages. But everyone is aware of the fact – it's extremely important to clean one's ears, otherwise, wax will accumulate and may result in an infection.

Speaking about proper cleaning of human ears it would be necessary to mention how wax is formed inside them. Well, the human body produces cerumen which is also called earwax. Earwax is a rather sticky substance that makes it excellent for trapping anything it touches: dirt, dust, pollen, even insects. In fact it may trap almost anything that may enter the ear canal. Ceruman plays a very important role for the human ears. If we didn't have earwax, our ear drums would be left defenceless to any foreign particles that can easily result in different infections.

Unfortunately, the scientists have found out that the human body doesn't really know how much earwax should be produced. So, when earwax accumulates, it can influence the ear drum's ability to lead sound. People may hear comparatively worse. Some people may have very hard earwax, in time it may even cause discomfort and pain. It's especially important to regularly clean the ears for people who use hearing aids. Many doctors advise to those people with hearing aids to properly clean their ears, as too much earwax can reduce hearing aids' effectiveness.

Let's speak about proper cleaning ears. The process of cleaning the ears doesn't involve taking a cotton-tipped swab and rubbing it inside your ears. It should be emphasized that any sticking objects including swabs or bobby pins placed into the ear canal can result in serious problems. Cotton-tipped swabs may influence the position of the earwax and push it onto the eardrum. Fortunately, there's a company that has created the most complete and effective ear-cleaning kit that can be safely used for cleaning ears and won't damage the ear drum. It's called Mack's ProRinse Earwax Removal Kit and it includes AquaBlock Earplugs, FDA-approved earwax-removal drops, a steady-flow syringe with tri-stream rinse tip and an ear wash rinse tub.

The silicone earplugs contain special ear drops which in some period of time easily break up and soften earwax. The tri-stream rinse tip directs water toward the walls of the ear canal. Don't worry as pressure can't grow during rinsing earwax out of the ears. The tip is shaped to enter the necessary amount of water.

The kit was thoroughly studied by the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. The kit is considered completely safe and effective for removing earwax from children's ears, improving their hearing.
