Well, you decided to buy a digital piano and haven't got a
clue.
Everywhere you go, nobody has given you very good advice,

and that just leaves you more clueless then when you
started.
You have a lot of print outs that you got off from the
internet, thinking that is all you need to know. But that
wasn't enough to make the right choice for you.
As you enter the shop, you notice that there are digital
pianos everywhere.
Some have a bare minimum of buttons and some have tons of
flashing lights and buttons.
There are pianos of every shape, size, and color. So where
do you begin?
Every shop seems to have a different digital piano to favor.
And seems to always be the one that is the store's most
expensive.
This is not what you need or want. Here is a rundown of some
of the more popular brands and their strengths.
The Yamaha...this brand is considered the most popular brand
by far today.
The Yamaha made some real effort to make their digital piano
to sound as close to the real thing as possible.
This was done by recording a sample from their concert grand
piano.
They got a rating of nine out of ten. The basic models range
from 989 British pounds, which, as of the day this was
written, is 1,414.98 United States dollars.
The Casio...this digital piano has made some drastic
improvements over the last few years.
They are what are considered the best in overall value for
your money.
The rating for this digital piano is seven out of ten.
If you don't have much space then it is suggested that you
get a Casio Privia.
Price range starts at 799.99 British pounds, which is
1,141.91 United States dollars as this day's exchange rate.
The Roland...has good quality with nice piano tones in the
center keys. But the rest are a bit thin and false in tone
on the middle and the high treble.
They took their sound sample from a Steinway grand piano.
The rating is eight out of ten. Price range starts for a
basic 899 British pounds, which is 1,283.24 United States
dollars. That is of today's current exchange rate.
The Suzuki...Suzuki is well known for motorcycles but they
are developing and getting a good reputation for digital
pianos.
They are also getting a great reputation for their teaching
method.
However, they have a ways to go as far as quality.
And their digital pianos price reflects their substandard
quality.
Their rating is two out of ten. The price range starts for
the basics at 799 British pounds, which is 1,140.49 United
States dollars.
