Now, not all new strategies are bad - in fact it's a good idea to keep your eyes open and adapt to changes in the industry - but don't spend all your time chasing the newest tricks. Focus your efforts and get some results before moving on to master something new.
Constantly jumping from one strategy to another is quite a bit like constantly trying new weight loss methods. Don't eat one thing for a week, then focus on getting an awful lot of something else the week after that, and on and on it goes.
How long do you think your body could keep that up? How effective do you really think it would be to keep jumping around between strategies that could very well be conflicting with one another? Not very.
Wouldn't it make more sense to implement some real long term changes in your life? These would be things you could do consistently and build some real results with.
It's the same thing with internet marketing. You need to lay a foundation for whatever marketing you are going to do. You can't spend a week posting videos on YouTube, then get bored and throw five hundred dollars into a PPC campaign only to give up and decide article marketing is a better way to go - all in the course of a month - and expect to get any real results from any of them.
You may see a little bit in the way of results, but you will see huge results if you take consistent, massive action. In the end, there really isn't any one perfect method out there. It all depends on who you are and how you work.
We all have different needs when it comes to things like diet and exercise, because we are all unique. The same goes for marketing: unique people require unique strategies.
The key thing is that you find the one that works for you and master it. Implement that strategy into your business consistently and the result will pour in.
