Even though you are not expert in using computer, you would still know some basic tools about computer. Of course, I am not saying the computer hardware inside the chassis because you might not really know them. When I say the tools I mean mouse, keyboard, etc, as well as USB drives.
Yes, USB drives do not have history as long as keyboard and mouse but the importance of USB drives nowadays is not far lower than the two other tools mentioned above. If you are not born after 2000, you would probably remember that before the bloom of the universal serial bus drives, people still used floppy discs to save the information. But obviously the computer files now cannot be stored in the discs which have limited storage. Therefore, USB is something crucial for people to transfer files from this computer to that computer in the world now.

The design of the USB drives is simple most of the time and it could be of different size. Most of these drives are portable and could be put inside the pocket of the shirt or even inside the wallet. Therefore, USB drives are more and more popular and more and more businessmen would like to use universal serial bus drives to promote the business.
As mentioned above, people would bring universal serial bus around. Therefore, companies would try to print some promotional logos or slogans on the USB drives so that people would be able to see the logos when they try to use the drives. On the other hand, when people try to give the USB drives to their friends for sharing information, their friends would read these logos and slogans too.
This means that if you could provide attractive slogan and logo, you would get the attention of the clients. Of course, a lot of poor businesses think that they only need to put the logo and then wait for the orders. However, this is something silly. You are not the only company using USB drives to advertise your business and a lot of users might be using several universal serial bus drives given by several companies. Therefore, you have to provide some eye-catching things to draw attention. Otherwise, they would just think that this is a normal USB, but not a promotional one.
Some users would think of adding a video clip to the USB so that when people open the USB drives in the computer, the video would be shown immediately. This might be good because the clients could see more detailed promotional message. However, if it is run time to time it might be annoying. Therefore, you have to consider whether your target customers would like it or not.
No matter what, the quality of the universal serial bus drives should not be low. It means that the USB drive should not suddenly become malfunctioned. People using universal serial bus drives would be scared of having such circumstance because they could hardly recover the information once the universal serial bus drives cannot function. Therefore, even though you need to spend more money to buy good USB drives for promotional purpose, you should still spend it.
Anyway, promotional USB drives are useful for business to advertise the business. Even though the initial cost might be high, the effect of promotion is long lasting because universal serial bus drives would be durable usually.
