Ammon nursery was founded in the spring of 1950 by Dick and Shirley Ammon who sold landscaping door to door during the financially sound years following World War II. The first nursery was located where the present day Florence Mall sits. The original nursery was very small consisting of only $50 worth of shrubs and a 15 year old pickup truck. Over the years the Ammon nursery has expanded to Ammon Farm, Ammon Wholesale Nursery and a venture into the landscaping business.

The main landscape designer at Ammon-Jones, David Jones, has joined what was known as Ammon Landscape back in 1994. Since then, he has worked very hard in order to only offer the ultimate best services to all existing clients, as well as promote enticing offers to expand his potential clientele. On November 1, 2002 Dave and Shirley Jones purchased Ammon Landscape. They will continue to operate with the high standards that the Ammon name has brought for over 50 years. In March of 2008 Tony O' Daniel was welcomed to the team. The Ammon-Jones Landscape has been a part of the community in Cincinnati for over 9 years. The service area includes Boone, Kenton, Campbell, Indiana, and Ohio Counties.
Ammon-Jones Landscape offers a wide assortment of services for the consumer. In the cold winter months they offer snow removal services to aid against the harsh elements provided by Mother Nature.
