Want some pointers for the content of your business postcards? Well you are in the right place. Custom postcards for business purposes require more than just your typical travel postcard. For it to actually achieve business goals, certain particular elements for the postcards must be integrated in to make them work for business. So let me give you the list of basic contents that must be in your marketing postcards for them to work correctly.

1. The Tempting Image – Of course, like any postcard, your commercial postcards must have a cover image. However, it must not just be any kind of pretty image much like a travel postcard. It must be tempting and highly visible on the part of the reader. Remember that your aim here is to stand out among the other mails people get. That is why it is important to have that very tempting and powerful image in your commercial postcards.

2. Commercial Title/Slogan – Next, you should have a good commercial title or slogan. You should have more here than just "wish you were here". It must be something that is original, never been heard before and of course it should not sound like a cliché.

The more you can make this different but catchy, the better. You will want people to actually be able to memorize this. So try and make it funny, poignant or even something like poetry with rhymes. Believe me, this will work a lot better.

3. The Cover Business Logo – Now, here is something some people forget in their commercial business cards. They must have a cover business logo. Your business' logo must already be at the cover so that people can easily see the author of the color postcard.

Moreover, it must be there so that you can start adding that business authority and of course start impressing people as well with your prints. So make sure you put in a high resolution logo image in your postcard cover.

4. Main Marketing Copy – All marketing postcards for business of course will need that main marketing copy content. This is usually found in short sentences at the cover, or in detail at the back of the business postcard.

This is where you communicate the details of your business message and impress upon people exactly why your postcard message is significant to them. Be sure to make this as concise as possible with the most appropriate details. You must really connect to the reader if you want this to work well.

5. Call to action – Another crucial component of a business postcard is the call to action element. This is the area of the postcard where the author convinces the reader to actually act on what he or she reads about in the postcard.

It can be an invitation to buy, or maybe even just to visit something or call someone. People need to actually read these call to actions for them to more clearly understand that they must do something. Without that, there is a less chance that your postcards will succeed. So make sure you have a call to action.

6. Business signature – Of course, since this is a business postcard, it will need a business signature. Typically this should be at the back and at the bottom of your postcards. This has all the information about your business including its address and contact information.

Much like a business card, it is how people will know about you and your firm, and the details they need to actually respond to you. Make sure this is formatted in the best possible way to make a good impression on people.

7. Sender/Receiver content - - Finally of course, since this IS a postcard, you must leave spaces and lines for the sender and receiver content. Make sure that the sender is already printed out if possible to make things look impressive and official.

Now you know what you need to put into your color postcards. Just remember all these and you will have the right elements for a truly effective commercial postcard.
