There is an aggressive treatment for tinnitus that is completely natural and which many folks are today using successfully. But before we go into that we need to examine just what causes tinnitus, what the symptoms are, and, what mainstream treatment for tinnitus is available.

The condition where a person can hear sounds that are not produced externally is called tinnitus. People suffering from tinnitus describe the sounds they hear as hissing, steam escaping, whistling, ringing, wooshing, ticking, clicking, etc.

There are 2 types of tinnitus, subjective and objective. Subjective tinnitus is where only the sufferer can hear the sounds, while objective tinnitus can be heard by another person using a special audio instrument. When we talk about tinnitus we are usually referring to subjective tinnitus.

The most common reason, or cause, for tinnitus is a problem with the inner ear and auditory nerve. The inner ear is where external sounds are converted to the appropriate signals that the auditory nerve then carries to the brain, which in turn allows us to hear and identify external sounds. However, there are several other ear disorders and medical conditions that can give rise to tinnitus.

So that tinnitus is really a symptom of other disorders, or, conditions. Typical of these other ear problems are; middle ear infection (glue ear), other ear infections, middle ear tumour, noise damage, meniere's desease (inner ear disorder), blocked eustachian tube (middle ear to back of nose), impacted ear wax, otosclerosis (stiffening of middle ear bones), hearing loss.

Other medical conditions that can help to give rise to tinnitus are; stress, head injury, allergies, whiplash, high blood pressure, anemia, medications (such as antibiotics, aspirin, anti-inflammatories), hardening of the arteries, old age, and, diet etc.

MEDICAL TREATMENT FOR TINNITUS

Medical treatment for tinnitus depends on the underlying problem(s) in each case. The following is just a selection of common treatments...

Medication:- Such as antibiotics, anti-anxiety, antihistamines, anticonvulsants.

Surgery:- Surgery is very rarely used except as a last resort.

But, the root cause(s) sometimes cannot be identified, so that other measures that can be tried are things such as...

Tinnitus Masker:- Positioned in the ear and produce various sounds that cover-up or mask the sounds of tinnitus.

Hearing Aid:- The hearing aid will raise the level of external sound relative to your internal sound.

Biofeedback:- Exercises to control circulation and relax the muscles that control your head and neck to help reduce the effect of the tinnitus.

Complementary Therapies:- Such as meditation, hypnosis, yoga, acupuncture, etc.

NATURAL TREATMENT FOR TINNITUS

Unfortunately, the success of these measures is somewhat limited. Partly due to the fact that the underlying cause can't always be identified. So that sufferers who have tried one or more of these therapies have reported varying results. Some report that the tinnitus has reduced, others that it reduced at first then returned to what it was, some never experienced an improvement at all. It is thought that around 93% of tinnitus sufferers never get relief.

Which is why many sufferers are looking for more natural approaches to their cure...

One of the most popular and effective is the Tinnitus Miracle system which uses a totally natural holistic approach to the treatment of tinnitus. One of the best ways to get round the fact that the root causes of tinnitus cannot always be identified, is to take a 'whole body' view of your treatment for tinnitus, which Tinnitus Miracle does.

And by taking this broad spectrum approach to treatment, you stand a much higher chance of success...
