When the majority of us think of holograms, we probably think of tacky 80s trading cards or improbably realistic projections of humanoids on science fiction shows. Therefore, it may seem to many that the chances of any types of hologram being effective for business are likely to be somewhat slim.
In reality though, holograms can be utilised for any number of promotional approaches and whilst you may not be able to have a fully realised human walking round free of any projector, you will be able to dazzle with the graphic reality of what you wish to display.

Today's holograms need to be kept within certain parameters, but besides that they are likely to be as realistic as the science fiction shows of yesterday suggested they might be. Therefore, from the ability to display products in graphic 3D to an impressed audience to simply have the ability to have famous faces or specific personalities engage an audience 'in person,' or even in real time, the potential of such holographic projection is now extremely vast.
For example, if a company has a specific mascot or a person/animal that is promoting a brand, using motion capture and holographic projection, an actor can portray that character offstage and be projected to the audience as a photo-real version of the necessary character. Therefore, since they are in the building, the actor can answer questions and communicate live with those present.
Other companies may find that such displays are perfect for demonstrations, interaction or simply for giving people an experience of what their product can actually do.
Ultimately, no matter what you might need to promote or say, there is a chance that a 3D hologram can be utilised to make it more interesting, more detailed or simply just a great deal more impressive to anyone, almost anywhere.
