Chinese stir fry is an incredible cooking method to cook food at high temperature. Stir frying is a speedy paced cooking without overcooking the food, which can lead to lost of vitamins and minerals. With high heat over a wok, stir-frying gives the recipe a delightful "wok hei" aroma along with retaining the pure taste of the food.

My family loves to eat Chinese cuisine, particularly the stir fried dishes. Beef-broccoli is the most loved, a very popular American Chinese dish. The tasty beef tenderloins along with the crispy broccoli coated in the flavorful ginger-garlic sauce will make those who have tried it asking for more.

It is easy to prepare Chinese beef-broccoli stir fry at home. Preparation for the beef-broccoli isn't that tough. Just don’t forget that stir frying is a fast paced cooking and so requires a high heat stove in order to copy the kind of taste you get in restaurants that you’ve grown to love. It’s cost-effective to prepare a home made beef-broccoli stir fried and you don’t have to worry about preservatives or msg added in like what you would get in Chinese restaurants. It’s a healthy and great dish to serve your family and guest.

What we will require:

1 pound thinly sliced beef sirloin
One pound broccoli florets,
3 tablespoons cooking oil to stir fry beef
3 tablespoons cooking oil to stir fry beef as well as broccoli
1 piece onion, diced
One tablespoon garlic, minced
1 tablespoon ginger, chopped

For the Marinade:
One tbs vegetable oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon rice wine
1 tablespoon cornstarch
ground white pepper (about a dash of it)
1 tablespoon soya sauce (dark)
1/2 teaspoon garlic powdered

For the Sauce:
Two tablespoon oyster sauce
Two tbs dark soya sauce

To make the consistency thicker:
One fourth cup of chicken stock
1 tsp cornstarch

Cooking Instruction:

Get a mixing bowl and marinade the beef with vegetable oil, white pepper, garlic powder, salt, corn starch, soy sauce and also rice wine. Refrigerate for half an hour

In a small bowl, mix the ingredients for the sauce and set aside. Get a separate bowl to mix the chicken stock and cornstarch.

Boil water in a pot. Sprinkle 1 teaspoon of salt, then add the broccoli florets. Let it to be cooked properly for just two minutes. Then switch off the flame and drain excess water to prevent it from overcooking. Set aside.

Pour the 3 tablespoon of cooking oil in a wok and heat until it’s hot. Put in the marinated meat and stir fry for a speedy three minutes till its brown. Dish out and set aside.

Add in three tablespoons of cooking oil in hot wok. Toss in the chopped garlic, ginger and the onion. Mix for a minute and add the beef, broccoli and the sauce mixture. Stir it for another minute until the aroma of your ingredients comes out. Add the corn starch mixture to give the sauce a thick consistency. Once you have mixed the sauce well, turn off the flame and serve hot with freshly cooked rice.
