is a dental specialty involving the replacement of missing teeth or the restoration of natural teeth. A prosthodontist has an additional three plus years of education beyond dental school. Prosthodontic dentistry includes both simple restorations involving the entire mouth and more complicated dental procedures including treating related facial deformities. Some common procedures a prosthodontist deals with include fixed bridges, crowns, dentures, partials, veneers and implants.
