Just like elsewhere around the country, many people make use of TV aerial installation in Bristol. Some of those who have, and indeed those who have taken advantage of aerial repairs in Bristol, may be fans of the show Skins.

The series follows a group of teenagers from Bristol through their sixth form years at school and it explores a range of controversial topics. Its premier was in January 2007 and since then, it has gone on to win a number of accolades, including a BAFTA.

Recently, star of the programme Sebastien De Souza, who plays Matty, asked those who've had TV aerial installation in Bristol, and those who haven't, to donate books to charity, Bristol24-7 reports.

He is supporting a drive by Oxfam to raise more funds for its work and has launched a fundraising drive through its network of shops. The initiative is focussing on reading material.

The actor claimed that the gift of storytelling and helping the charity would make a "huge difference". He added: "Reading is a really important way of understanding the world around us. A story transports us and takes us to another world entirely."

De Souza went on to state: "It has the power to teach us about the past, warn us of the future and makes us more aware of the problems of the present."

Meanwhile, Sylvain Facenda, manager of the Princess Victoria store, noted that every year, the quality of books received by the charity continues to rise. She also pointed out that the diversity of the stock relives on the "superb level of donations" that the organisation receives.

Those needing aerial repairs in Bristol, as well as other people in the area, may be interested to note that Oxfam stores in the city are planning a number of events from July 2nd to 17th to celebrate the donations they receive.
