Arrange graphics folder in a way that all your images stays in one subfolder. So if your webpage is ABC.com/index.htm so as the images should be placed in ABC.com/images/. Take a user of template. On the first phase create one template. Now use this template for creating new web pages for other sections. Template page should have all your website design basic elements, starting from menu and header structure. However should be lack in content. Now you can create N no of webpage using this template.

If particular section of the website is in more use then implement a CMS in your website. Implement CMS for the pages or sections which requires frequent visit. Let say if you are having a new page then setting up some blog software to make updating it much easier and faster.

There are pages in the website which looks empty right now but is going to have lodes of content on it. So for the pages that may have a lot of material in near future should be set as vertically so page can have more and more information added into it. You should not place loads of information on the page which could not grow vertically. It is better to have design which has immense content set up where more content later won't break it.

While referring to course of time always mention absolute terms and avoid saying as I wrote an article 2 months ago. Instead mention as I wrote article on this date. So this helps me to save time hence I don't have to look back later on and change anything. Stay away from suing these words, "recently," "yesterday," and "soon." Have a habit of taking back up of your website and webpage regularly especially if you do update a page frequently. A back up copy should be always available with you to make updates. Remember what types of webpage are there on your website or keep a detailed list of hardcopy with you. This list should have the exact pages you've changed and when you have changed them and what changes have been implemented.

Maintain the height and widths of images sizes. If there is page on your website which is having pictures then make replacement of images is done with same size of pictures. Adopt an idea of having a prominent picture on your home page of the website and after certain time period change it. Make sure the new graphics are consistent in terms of image quality and height and widths. Do not try to place lots of color variation. Avoid using lot of varying colors and keep fonts sizes same. Always stay away from having tons of bold and italicized words and sentences. Because they have tendency to detracts greatly from the professionalism of your site.
