Lets say your new to Houston and its public schools system. Your not alone and among HISD you can choose Katy Independent School District or Spring Branch ISD. In this article I am going to guide you on choosing not only the correct public school for your child but, on how to guarantee your child admission based on your apartment address.
We primarily focus our attention and best interests in our children. If not for our children what do we have to live for? We as parents would do anything for our children so why not put them in the best public school system? In this article I will answer how your son or daughter can get admitted to the best public school if you cannot afford to buy a house in that neighborhood.
The answer my friends is move into an Apartment in Houston. Magnet Elementary schools like West University Elementary are not based solely on which zipcode you live in but, rather how well your child does on a magnet test. Other Elementary schools like Poe base admission on what your address and zipcode is. A simple phone call to our office or your Houston Apartment Locator will answer what apartments you can afford to live in and what school your child will be admitted to. I know Bellaire and Lamar High School are other wonderful HISD schools that your child can get admitted to with choosing the right Apartment in Houston.

Now what about Katy Independent School District? They have atleast 10 excellent rated elementary schools one of which is Exley Elementary. When it comes to Katy ISD High Schools Taylor seems to be compeitive with Katy High School.
Cinco Ranch homes in South Katy are one of the costliest market prices ranging from $255k to almost a million. But I know of 3 Apartments that are zoned for Exley Elem. You can visit HISD and KATY ISD websites to see what schools have the highest rankings. From there almost any good Houston Apartment Locator has the resources to cross reference the school you want with the Apartment you need to live in.
Not sure what school district to place your child in? In most cases setting up a Budget, and deciding how far you want to commute to work will be the first steps before choosing the right School District.
