What would you feel if you had the whole world in your pocket? It is but natural that you would feel as if on the top of the world. The smart phones equipped with the latest technology and different types of mobile application have not only shrunk the world in the mobile phone devices but also made it easy to access everyone and anyone who uses the smart phones.
As a person becomes aged he/she usually does not like to adopt the new technology. Most of the elderly people usually do not like to tax their brains for learning and getting adapted to the latest technology that is being used in the smart phones. On the other hand the youth are not only eager and enthusiastic to learn new technology but also ready to promote it if they find it useful in their day to day activities.

The mobile applications can add so many features to the mobile phone device that the mobile phone device can nearly be used as a portable office. The mobile applications allow the user to have accesses to the internet, telecommunicate with people, maintain public relations, play games and even listen to music.
The youth having smart phones usually like to flaunt their latest technical gizmos especially when they are among their friends, relatives and professional acquaintances. No one would like to feel that he/she is being left out just because of not having a smart phone. The smart phone is soon replacing the desk top PC and is becoming a status symbol. These are some of the prominent reasons for the youth to buy the smart phones.
Earlier there were just a few manufactures of smart phones. As of now, the numbers of smart phones is increasing exponentially. The number of smart phone users has increased to such an extent that these users now need to be considered a different market sector.
Earlier there were very few brands of smart phones but as their popularity grew the number of smart phone brands have increased. Among the different brands of smart phones available in the market the brands like iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows are very popular. The operating systems and platforms vary from brand to brand. It is because of this difference that usually the application that works on one brand does not work with other brands.
As a consequence of increasing number of brands and competition the price of the smart phones is not as high as it was earlier. The smart phones are now becoming affordable. The youth of today likes to be quick at whatever they do. They want to access the internet and IT enabled services from the smart phones that they have. They do not want to be bound and restricted to the four walls. The smart phones of today facilitate the users with as much freedom as possible.
