That's right. Camping is back. It may have been a staple for family holidays in years gone by, but it has been replaced in more recent years by the ease and cost-effectiveness of cheap flights and low-cost package holidays. But whilst such low-cost options still exist, more and more people are finding that camping is actually a far better choice.
So why is it that we are seeing such a revival? Ultimately, there are many reasons. Firstly, camping equipment is far better than in years gone by meaning that a camping trip can now be extremely comfortable and one can easily afford to get a more luxurious experience. Then, there is the fact that it is simply easier when going away to have the flexibility of packing your camping equipment in a car and making camp wherever you see fit.

Camping on the other hand can be even cheaper and offer you the versatility to head to the most interesting and exciting places every single time, and more importantly to places you will never have seen.
Camping is also making a comeback simply due to the fact that people are feeling the need to head outside more. With so many people stuck in offices for far longer periods of time than in years gone by, the allure of donning some walking boots and seeing some genuine natural beauty is starting to outweigh the lure of simply sitting on a beach all day.
So if you are looking for the perfect getaway, it might be worth simply buying some new walking boots and the right tent, and creating your own perfect package holiday.
