3 Keys To MLM Lead Generation

The network marketing industry is an extremely rewarding place to be, but it's very likely that you may be struggling with something that affects so many marketers: you just can't seem to generate enough leads to get your MLM business off the ground! We have all been there at one time, and it can be an utterly discouraging experience. You are well aware of the wonderful opportunity you are offering, but you just can't seem to generate the proper attention, if any at all.

I've learned these three "secrets" to MLM lead generation. I hesitate to use the word secret because I think it tends to get abused, but in this case, I'm going to make an exception.

Become A Leader

Let me say that one more time. Become a leader. Nobody wants to follow a follower. People want to follow leaders, so becoming a leader as quickly as possible should be high on your priority list! This can be done just by working on yourself, by making yourself more valuable and by teaching and helping others.

It is so crucial that we work on ourselves as much, if not more, as we work on our business. This is something we have total control over, but is often overlooked. The truth is that nothing is stopping us but ourselves!

Provide Value

We've got to be honest here. No one cares how much money you made last month or last year. What they do care about is how you are going to help them reach their goals and have a successful business. It is so essential that we are always providing value to our prospects. This is one of my favorite quotes:

"We must give without want before we can receive."

I think that just about sums it up. This is an essential concept to being successful at MLM lead generation. It's vital that we are always giving to our prospects and teaching them. Spend at least 80% of your time giving and providing value, and save your selling for the other 20%.

Don't Be Needy

Your prospects will see right through you and nobody will want to join you. There is no reason to even be needy because we have the opportunity for them. They want what we have and not the other way around. It's crucial that you value your time and not spend it chasing down people who just don't get it.

Follow up is one thing. "Stalking" your prospects is quite another! There are more prospects online than you may even realize, so maintain that attitude of abundance and you will be rewarded!

There are a large amount of different factors surrounding MLM lead generation, but these three basic secrets are a good start. These principles will help you build the foundation and the mindset to be able to attract good quality leads. Once you really embrace them, nothing will stop you! You will be generating MLM business leads all day long!
