Many Dake arbor presses can be found at Machinery Values in excellent condition at an affordable price. Machinery Values is one of the world’s largest machinery dealers. Many of our Dake Arbor presses are complete with adjustable table, two swinging tables, hand-operated brake and pedestal stand.

You may find some that are standard single leverage, ratchet-type single leverage and compound leverage models offered by Dake. All frames are cast of heavy reinforced steel and incorporate a flanged spline design adding rigidity to the press body for strength and durability. The bases of these presses are drilled to permit bench or pedestal mounting. They are also machined for maximum stability.

Most bases of the arbor press are a cast metal with a ram that provides the force. This may be round or square and is usually driven by a rack and pinion set up to improve the mechanical advantage. Higher force (usually generated by manual or hydraulic input) arbor presses have another gear reduction.

Single leverage arbor presses by Dake feature an adjustable handle, shimmed ram cap and smooth action gears. These one ton models are also equipped with slotted table plates, pedestals and base opening depending on the model.

The ratchet leverage permits the lever to be used in most convenient positions. Its counterweight returns lever quickly after downstroke, the pedestals are available for several models and the handwheel advanced ram works quickly. These models usually range from 3 to 5 tons.

The compound leverage is generally used for heavier press work. This press can range from 6 to 15 tons and have a compound leverage mechanism which allows greater pressure application with minimum effort. Pedestals are available on all bench models. There is a rack and pinion table adjustment on select models and some have dual swinging tables for height adjustment. To convert the press from compound to single leverage there is a sliding pin that makes this easy.

Dake has a standing reputation of offering quality products that are built to last. These presses are hardworking, long-lasting and are used in hundreds of applications and industries. Most users of the Dake arbor press go on to have years of trouble free service and easy operation.
