Western cities like Phoenix and Boise are also expanding, and there are plenty of opportunities to create your own niche in these markets, unlike the very competitive markets in California. Cities to the east, such as Asbury Park and Long Island, are close to New York City, but since so many beauticians are trying to make it in the Big Apple, a hole has been left in neighboring cities that needs to be filled.
There are plenty of opportunities to find your customer base and build a career as a beautician throughout the United States, and you don't necessarily need to leave home to do so. However, if you are already thinking of relocating, these cities would be ideal.
