Calamities and tragedies are often times unpredicted. But everyone is affected by it including the entire community and the country. No matter how one readies himself for such bad happening it cannot be avoided that emotional turmoil can be felt by the victims and their family. To cope up with tragedy and to live a normal life again, here are some helpful tips:
1. Learn to accept Learn to accept the bad things that happened in your life. This is easier said than done but if you cannot overcome this stage you will never see the brighter side of life again.

2. Have Faith Whatever your religion or religious beliefs you can call onto God and ask for help. Seeking guidance from God in prayer is helpful to let go of all your negative emotions to Him. Tell Him how you feel about the tragedy and ask for His help. Avoid asking why this has happen to you and your family instead ask yourself where have you gone wrong. A lot of people put the blame on Him but they never realized that God has a reason for everything that comes in their lives.
3. Seek help. It is okay to feel helpless but to feel hopeless is another thing. If you there are someone who want to offer their help, accept it. Don't be too proud. Do not turn away from those people who care and love you. We can understand those who grieve because of tragic events. Allow yourself to cry and moan over the loss but you should also realize that you have been given a new life. You should be grateful for your new life and be productive. You can help others who are experiencing the same loss by reaching out tot hem and help them understand.
4. Start rebuilding your life. We are only pilgrims on this earth and our life is just like a smoke that quickly fades away. Don't spend all your time crying in the corner and stop blaming yourself for the tragedy that happened. What you can do is help other people and inspire those who are experiencing the same.
5. Every now and then the anger and fear of the tragedy will flash through your mind. The best thing that you can do is to do something that can be used as an outlet of your negative emotions. Go for a run, talk to someone about your feelings , write, exercise in the gym or even cry.
Recall the happy days with your loved ones and forget the bad things. Remember the good old days with your loved ones before the tragedy hit your life.
