Cool, stylish, and compelling business cards get remembered. In a pile of varying designs, colors, and messages, a business card that is distinct has a greater chance of getting noticed and remembered. It's like shopping in a high-end boutique for a stylish dress. You see racks and racks of well-designed designer clothes. Every single one of the clothes is beautiful and smart in their own way. But there will be one dress that will stand out and catch your eye.
In a highly competitive market, only the unique and resourceful stands out and succeed. With every single business seeking to get lots of customers and increase their sales and profit, it becomes harder to compete fairly. However, all this can be achieved by simply using your business cards.

Ideally, a business card should contain the following contents in your business card templates:
• Business name
• Your name
• Logo
• Telephone number
• Email address
• Street address
• Website, if you have
But aside from these usual details you still add other information to make your card unique. You can also consider putting a tagline below your business name or message at the back of your card to stir the emotions or imagination of your prospects. This is a good way to grab attention out there.
One huge mistake though that many entrepreneurs commit with their business cards is letting it collect dust in the box. If you want to be competitive, you have to be out there with the others. You have to compete head to head, toe to toe. If your still have a thousand cards in your box or still using the cards you printed three years ago, there is something wrong with your marketing strategy. It's time you get moving and start marketing aggressively.
One good way to hand out your business cards is to leave it in many places such as:
• On reception areas of building and offices
• In restaurants together with your tip or tables of fast food restaurants
• Inside magazines in your doctor's or dentist's office
• On public bulletin boards
• On the shelf of ATM machines
• On the sink of public restrooms
• Gas station
• Fitness centers
• Newspaper stands
• Bowling alleys
Aside from leaving them in those places, you can also give out your card to anyone you meet during the day. If you are at the dentist's office or grocery store, strike a conversation with another client or shopper. And before you conclude your talk, consider giving him your card. Every time you visit the park with your kids, you can also give your card to other moms there. Also, when you write greeting cards or thank you notes, add a business card or two. Even when mailing bills, you can always stick a card with your payment.
If you still have in your box 600-1000 business cards, you need to get them to the hands of people who can help you grow your business quickly. Ideally, you want your card out of your office and into the hands of your prospects as quickly as possible, so make it a goal to give out at least 100 cards per week. This will surely help you stay ahead of your competitors and get noticed and remembered easily.
