1. Don't use wet cloth to clean wooden furniture. You can use damp, soft cloth to clean it up and never use anything rough to wipe them.
2. Use a damp cloth with liquid cleaner or detergent to clean your plastic furniture and other non-wooden furniture. Cleaning it need not be expensive.
3. Avoid dragging them around. If you wish to move them, lift them slightly off the floor. Doing this can extend the life span of your restaurant furniture and of course your floor.
4. Tablecloths are great to cover the surfaces of your table. This can not only add to the aesthetics of your restaurant but it can also protect your table.
5. Use a plastic liner under the table cloth so that there is no water that seeps through the table cloth and unto the table. This applies to all types of table - wooden, plastic or glass.
6. When cleaning your restaurant, move them in an area where these items won't be in your way as you clean. Don't stack them as much as possible.
7. Always check for scratches and retouch its polish. This way, you are building your restaurant's image with its always fresh look. On non-costumer days, don't use the furniture for doing activities which would destruct your kitchen furniture.
The things mentioned above are just simple means to lengthen the life of your restaurant furniture. Though they may be trivial, but these are very effective tips that can help your business.
