It's important to understand what resources to get connected after graduation from radiology school are available to you long before you need them. In fact, the post-graduation resources may even be a deciding factor in the school that you choose as a prospective student. Some schools guarantee that all students are able to secure positions in the radiology field within six months of graduation or similar types of assurances. If they have relationships with local employers and a strong career assistance department, it's possible that such claims are absolutely true. A good radiology school will truly prepare you for the rigors of the job as well. The program should be approved with JRCERT or at least qualified to prepare you for certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. This could range from providing help with résumés and job applications to hosting job fairs to actually placing you with local employers. If you are attending a school that places students with local employers, you will be in the best position to start your career after graduation.
