Since strength is one of steel's inherent properties, many people all over the world prefer it over others. Because it is strong, it can easily absorb any stress and it can't be bent easily. Hence, the overall strength of the entire structure largely depends on the inherent strength of the materials used, especially the foundation. Most of the materials used is steel, it only follows that a major advantage of using steel is sturdiness.
