“Puff, the Magic Dragon” may have been what you were singing when you were a kid, but that doesn™t mean the song isn™t relevant to your children now. Many kids can identify these fictional creatures because they are ever present in books, movies and cartoons. The dragon represents a mythical creature full of legend. When you read fairy tales to your child there is often a dragon mentioned or illustrated. Children like dragons because they fit into whatever imaginary land they have daydreamed about.
Dragons can seem like a scary creature in some circumstances. Usually by the end of the book or movie, the reader or audience gets to see a softer side of the animal. This is a part of why children love dragons so much. Most dragons are tough, yet sweet. That™s why your child would love a dragon stuffed animal. It can sometimes be hard to find a dragon stuffed animal that is perfect for your little one. A dragon that is too gothic might scare your child. You need a dragon that is cute, soft and comforting.
