Africa is a vast continent comprised of several countries and independent territories. Within this region are a vast selection of wild animals, many of which can’t be found in any other part of the world. The terrain of Africa is diverse. There are deserts, forests, jungles and plains. Each geographical area is home to certain types of animals. When people travel to Africa and go on safari, they can expect to see some of these animals in their natural habitat.
