1. Well built boxes

2. Packing tape

3. Marking pen

4. Bubble wrap

5. Papers

6. Scissors

Tips for packing

1. First decide which things you are going to pack so that you won't waste time and your energy. Pack your belongings in a box with each box containing detailed description about the contents. Be particular, as it makes unpacking much simple. If you're moving locally, then it is better not to pack unnecessary things. Consider the fact that certain fragile things needed packing such as antique items, piano, etc. wrap it properly so that it won't get damaged.

2. Always keep the heavy items on the bottom of the carton and place fragile items on the top. Don't forget to wrap these items with bubble wrap or newspapers. In some cases, some company movers will handle that job efficiently and take that load off from you.

3. Don't try to over stuff the boxes with many things because it might get clumsy and sometimes might break your precious possessions.

4. Taping your loaded boxes is the other important task because if you don't tap it properly, your belongings might get tossed or broken.

5. Avoid taping polished wood items because it might ruin the wooden surface.

6. After you have packed everything, kindly ensure that you place "Things you need first" in an easily accessible area inside the truck. So that it might be easy for you to unload it and use it immediately.

7. What goes in "Things you need first" list? Medicines, first aid Kit, necessary personal items, change clothes, toiletries, towels, necessary cooking kit and small tool kit for assembling.

If you follow this technique, packing for moving can be much easier and simple. If you approach a good packers and movers, then your job is fully done without the risk of breaking your valuable stuff.
