A steady decline of the animal is observed due to regular poaching. Uganda, a small east African nation had over 30,000 elephants all through 1960 and the numbers were drastically reduced since countless elephants moved to nearby Congo, during the cruel regime of Idi Amin- then army general. There are few elephants left in the park and forests of Uganda. The population keeps growing but unless of course preserved with determination the great mammal will extinguish from the face of Earth.

Kampala, the capital of Uganda has many hotels, hostels and apartments for tourist to enjoy their stay. Kampala is now a city of mixed people from many countries of the world. People from all over the world visit Kampala on business and for amusement. Visibly the place may not be attractive but the capital city is rich in tradition and has several international eateries, hotels and apartments. Although, the city is pricey as compared to other locations in Uganda. Accommodations for visitors are costly in Hotels. If you are single, staying in a hostel at $10 per night is a wise option. There are hotels to be found in the medium range charging $70 to $150 a night.
Apartments in Kampala are the most suitable option for tourists with family and friends those who plan a long stay to explore the wildlife sanctuaries. Thus it is the best place to stay, cook your own delicious food and enjoy the privilege of home. The costs are competitively priced and reasonable and accommodates to every taste and expense plan.
