Once you have attained that tan that you have been longing for since winter, you can keep your tan for a longer period of time and just have fun with it. There are some common tips on how to make your tan last longer. These have been proven by regular tanners and it is hoped that you will also gain something from this article. You can protect your tan from early loss by eating orange colored fruits and vegetables such as carrots, sweet potatoes, papaya, melons, etc. Cabbage and kale are also great sources of beta carotene.
4. Use tan extending products – There are commercial aids to make your tan last longer. These are tan extending products and have been proven to be safe for use. Simply rub it on like lotion. These products also safeguard your skin from further sun damage after you have tanned.
5. Splurge on after sun care products – These are creams and moisturizers that aim to hydrate, soothe, refresh, and prolong skin tan. It may contain any of the following ingredients: chamomile, aloe vera, alantoine, vitamins C, F, and E, panthenol, and other soothing or hydrating ingredients.
It is advantageous to make your tan last longer as this will prevent you from successively undergoing a tanning session which is harmful for your skin. Being tanned will highlight your profile when you stand out in the crowd with your tanned skin. Therefore, try to make your tan last longer because it deserves to last.
