There are always plenty of hot trends in beauty for fashionistas to keep track of-every season, every year and every era brings its own trends that you can either follow or forget about. The Natural Look
This may sound too obvious to be a trend, but now that winter is coming to an end and spring 2011 is on the horizon, the natural look is more "of the moment" than ever. Apply concealer and foundation to give your skin that flawless look, and loosely brush on mineral powder to finish it. Use a shade of mascara that matches your eyelashes (usually brown/black). Then all you need is lip gloss, either clear or a light shade, like pale pink, and blush in peach, rose or brown, depending on your skin tone.

Smoky Eyes for Evening
Smoky eyes have been a hot look this winter, which should remain a fashionable evening trend throughout spring and summer. Black and gray are the most popular colors of eye shadow to achieve this smoky look, although there are many beautiful options to choose from, like brown and purple. The smoky look creates an intense statement that is suitable for evening parties. Normally, it is recommended to use a neutral shade on the lips to go with an intense eye, but if it's a special occasion you can go bold with a red lip and a smoky eye. However, be careful-you want to look like a glamour goddess, not a clown.
Vibrant Lips Any Time
Some very vibrant shades of lipstick have been dominating this season, such as intense peach, startling purple, burgundy wine and fire engine red. If you're going to do a bold lip color, though, it is normally recommended that you go minimal on the eye. A light line of black eyeliner and a coat of black mascara is all you need to compliment your vibrant shade of lipstick.
